Calendar - Water Distribution Main Cleaning

On Tuesday 12/27/2005 and Wednesday 12/28/2005 we will be conducting a blow off of your water system between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. We conduct the blow-off of the entire water distribution system so that we can remove sand and mineral deposits from the reservoir and the water distribution mains.  Completing these activities is important to help protect your water quality.

The blow-offs will be flowing out into the street to accomplish the flushing.  Customers may notice a drop in pressure while the blow-off is being done; also a slight odor of chlorine and possible discoloration of water after the blow-off has been completed.  If you experience any odor or discoloration, please flush your service line through your outside hose bib rather than through your sink into your septic system.
